Marie Stella Richard 1943-2003 BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Marie Stella Richard, 59, widow of Joseph Vincent Richard, of Bouctouche, NB, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2003. Born in St. Louis de Kent, NB she was the daughter of Viola (Maillet) Richard and the late François Richard. She was employed at Pays de la Sagouine as the character "Dolinda". She attended St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, RichibouctouVillage. She was a choir member for 27 years and taught catechism, Teen Encounter and also volunteered for many organizations and charities by fund raising and donating her time. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club. She is survived by her mother, Viola; life partner, Stan Stewart, Richibucto; one son, Claude (Murielle), Fredericton; two grandchildren, Mélanie, Jérémie; four sisters, Rejeanne Richard (Bélonie), Dartmouth, NS, Doris Richard-King (Rosario Babineau), Ste. Anne de Kent, Rosa Gallant (PaulEmile), St. Ignace, Françine Vautour (Jean), St. Ignace; three brothers, Marcel Richard, Prince George, BC, Delphin Richard (Maria), St. Ignace, Gilles Richard (Laurida), St. Ignace. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at 7:00 pm. For those that wish to do so, donations can be made in Stella's memory at the Caisse Populaire in Richibucto or Richibouctou-Village.
