G. Irving Mitton MEMRAMCOOK, NB - G. Irving Mitton, of Memramcook, NB, age 67, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born June 20, 1935, in Moncton, NB, he was a son of the late George T. and Bessie Ayer (Irving) Mitton. He served as a lawyer in Moncton for over 32 years, and was past president of the NB Law Society. He was a member of St. James United Church in West Cove, PEI. He is survived by his second wife, JoAnn Irving-Mitton; a son, George J. (Leigh Ann) of Upper Rexton; a stepson, Jeffrey Daniels (Kerry) of Ottawa; two stepdaughters, Patricia Lee Stewart (John) of Oxford and Kerry Fay (Bernd Amann) of North Carolina; three sisters, Marilyn Patten of Cap Pele, Elizabeth Ann Taylor of Colpitts Settlement and Margaret Ellen Clare (Richard Poole) of Caledon, ON; a brother, H. Myron Mitton (Gail) of Sackville; five grandsons, Mackenzie, Landon, Alex, Michael, and Jeffrey and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son, Michael. By request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service at the funeral home. The family will be receiving friends at Irving Residence, 4538 Route 106, Upper Dorchester on Wednesday from 2 to 4pm. The arrangements are under the direction of Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma Street, Moncton (857-1110). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Georges-L.
