Helen G. Melanson SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Helen Melanson, age 76, of Sackville occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 16, 2004. Born in Cookville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie (Kaye) Polley. She was a member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville. Helen will be sadly missed by her husband, Edwin, Sackville; a son, Dennis, Sackville; a daughter, Jeanette (Douglas) Broadbent, Lennoxville, QC; three sisters, Ruby (Abner) Beal and Barbara Atkinson, both of Sackville and Linda (Neil) Crossman, Ladysmith, BC; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Emery and by brothers, Bill, Oakley and Murray. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, (3641300), Sackville with visitation Sunday from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at 11am, Father Alban Thibodeau officiating.
