Henry Knockwood FORT FOLLY FIRST NATION, NB - The death of J. Henry Knockwood, age 78, of the Drew Nursing Home and formerly of Dorchester, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 20, 2004. Born in Albert Mines, NB, he was a son of the late James and Mary (Labobe) Knockwood. A retired blueberry farmer, he had served for two terms as Chief of the Fort Folly First Nation. He was a member of St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville. Henry will be sadly missed by his daughter, Mary Knockwood of Amherst and his son, Andrew (Maria) of Dorchester; brothers, George (Edith) and Joseph (Wendy) both of Fort Folly First Nation; sisters, Bertha Francis of Rocky Point, PEI, and Anna Knockwood, Fort Folly First Nation; three grandchildren, Ricky, Melissa and Ghislaine. He was predeceased by his wife, Monique (Audette) in 2002 and by siblings, William, Florence, Mary Jane, Doris and an infant. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, (364-1300) with visitation Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church, Sackville on Monday, August 23, 2004 at 11 am. Burial will be in the St. Edward's parish cemetery.
