Diane Louise London Pacey FREDERICTON, NB - The death of Diane Louise London Pacey of Fredericton, NB occurred on Sunday, August 29, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB she was the daughter of the late Milton and Betty (Jonah) London and wife of Peter Pacey. Diane graduated from Moncton High School in 1970. She obtained her Jewelry Major from the NB Craft School in 1974. She was a gifted Jeweller and worked as a professional pewter craftsman with Aitkins Pewter and later as a stained glass artisan with Shades of Light. Diane graduated from St. Thomas University in 2000 with her BA in Honours History where she also received the Best Senior Essay Award. She received the NB Merit Award for Contribution to the Arts in 2004. As a professional, Diane was the manager and director of Fredericton Outdoor Summer Theatre and performed with the Calithumpians Theatre Company. She was the company manager of TNB for five years. She was a gifted musician and vivacious vocalist with the Down Town Blues Band. Survived by her husband, Peter of Fredericton, NB; her children, William, Simon both of Fredericton, NB and Sarah Pacey (Stephen) of Bristol, NB; four brothers, Douglas (Linda) of Gagetown, NB, Arnold (Heidi) of Lakeburn, NB, Barry (Dawn) of Dieppe, NB and Gordon of Moncton, NB and one nephew, two nieces and several cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Milton and one brother, Allison. There will be no visitation by request. A celebration of life will be held at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 7:00 pm. Rev. Dr. Bill Randall will officiate. No flowers by the request of the family. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Will Trust Fund or to the Run For The Cure would be appreciated by the family.
