Ted Hebert 1963 - 2004 ALDOUANE, NB - Mr. Ted Hebert, age 40, of Aldouane, NB passed away at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital in Moncton, Friday, September 24, 2004 following a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Theodore Hebert of Rexton and Andrea (Richard) Hebert of Cap Lumiere. Ted was an avid member and a strong voice of the Aldouane Community and Youth Center. He worked diligently and gave freely of his time and energy to the children in the area. Music was his passion. He touched the hearts of family and friends and anyone so fortunate to have had the great pleasure of experiencing his gift of song. A true talent, a melodic voice, and an innate ability to recount lyrics of all genres of songs and music is what distinguished Ted as a musician. Ted was an excellent athlete. He was a committed hockey fan and was a talented goaltender. He provided local fans with many exciting and memorable hockey moments. He demonstrated hard work and courage on and off the ice. These strong character traits proved to be invaluable in his last years. Ted was the epitome of courage. Although he suffered in great pain, he chose to focus on and celebrate life. He possessed a terrific sense of humor and a sharp wit and he used these gifts to calm the worries and fears of all visitors. He was a loyal friend who was genuine and true to life. Ted was a devoted husband and father and loved his family deeply. The most poignant points about Ted that will forever keep him cherished in our memories are: his deep love of Lise, Zacharie and Stephane; his loyalty and commitment to friends; and his passion for music. A most gracious thank-you Dr. Roy, Dr. Richard and Dr. Dumais. To the 12 nurses who provided Ted with dignity, care and love during his stay in the palliative care unit, a loving thank-you. There will be a celebration of Ted's life at the Aldouane Community Center on Saturday, October 2, 2004 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
