Ellen Hodgins BATHURST, NB - The death of Mrs. Ellen Hodgins, of Belldune, occurred Friday, 1 October 2004 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, she was 91. Born in Belledune, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Grace (Carter) Brown. She is survived by two daughters, Grace Ward (Douglas) of Grand Digue, NB, Mrs. Mary Goodman (Paul), Halifax, NS; three grandchildren, Suzanne and Holly Ward and Joel Goodman; two brothers, George Brown (Rita) and Clinton Brown (Dorothy), both of Bathurst; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Hodgins in 1984; her son, Joseph Hugh Hodgins in 2003; sisters, Margaret Hodgins, Alice Williamson and Lillian Chamberlain, all of Bathurst. The body is at Elhatton Funeral Home, 187 St. George Street, Bathurst. Visiting hours are from 7 to 9, Tuesday, October 5, 2004 with funeral service at the Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 6, 2004 with Rev. Keith Adams officiating. Following a reception at the Chapel service. Interment will take place at the Hodgins Cemetery in Belledune.
