Girvan Wayne Wheaton 1940 - 2004 RIVER GLADE, NB - The death of Girvan Wayne Wheaton of River Glade occurred at the Jordan Life Care Centre, River Glade, on Monday, October 4, 2004, following a brief illness. He was born in Wheaton Settlement on September 1, 1940 and was a son of the late Siddal and Emma (Constantine) Wheaton. He was a retired carpenter having worked for Byron Dobson Construction Co. of Riverview. He attended Forest Glen Baptist Church. He is survived, and will be missed by his daughters, Debbie Carroll (Glenn) of Riverview, Lana Wheaton of The Glades and Elaine Gogan (Greg) of Salisbury. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brent Gogan, Matthew Carroll and Katie Carroll; his sisters, Gloria MacWilliam (David), Garda Crossman (Gordie), Gail Cochrane (Lloyd) all of Salisbury and Jocelyn Corey (George) of Killiams Mills; his brothers, Gerald (Jolene) of Orangeville, Ontario, Guerney (Olive) of River Glade as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac from 7 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday, October 5, 2004. A memorial service will be held at Armstrong's Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 6, 2004. Interment will be held at Wheaton Settlement Baptist Church Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
