Joan Trites STRATFORD, ON - Joan Trites, age 73, of Stratford and formerly of Pointe-Du-Chene, NB, passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Friday, October 21, 2005. Born in Moncton, NB, daughter of the late Oswald Underwood and the former Belle McKinnon. Beloved wife of Roger (Rod) Trites whom she married in Moncton, September 18, 1954. Loving mother and grandmother of Kevin Trites and wife Julie and their children Scott, Sean, Nick and Megan; Kim and her husband Bill Love and their children Sam and Jacqueline; Kenneth Trites and wife Kris and their children Grace, Katy, Ella and Evie. Dear sister of Bill Underwood and wife Mona, Vint Underwood and wife Dodie and Phyllis Broadley. Dear cousin of Margaret MacDonald. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Charles, by a sister Marilyn Wadman and husband Scott and by a brother-in-law Bill Broadley. Family will receive friends at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, October 28 where a visitation will be held in the reception centre from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Stratford General Hospital Palliative Care Unit through the funeral home.
