Mrs. Carol Leggatt 1938 - 2006 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Carol Leggatt of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home formerly of John St., Miramichi passed away peacefully on Monday night, December 18th, 2006 at the age of 68. She passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital surrounded by her entire family after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Bathurst in 1938, the daughter of the late John and Audrey (Deverick) Culligan. She was a nurse at Pediatrics and had a great passion for her work. She is survived by her husband, Art; five children, Kim Berry (Paul), Chris Leggatt (Cindy), Jamie Leggatt (Robin), Terry Leggatt (Tanya) and Michele Leggatt; one brother, John; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Ryan, Darci, Nicklaus, Nolan, Jude, Barrie and Carol Ann. All of Miramichi. Visitation with family and friends will be held from Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi on Wednesday, December 20th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 21st, 2006 at 11am from St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi with Fr. Paul Riley officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Miramichi Alzheimer's Society or the memorial of ones choice.
