Alice Mary Fournier MOUNT ST. JOSEPH, NB - The death of Alice Mary Fournier of Mount St. Joseph formerly of Newcastle, widow of Wilfred Fournier occurred at the Nursing Home on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at the age of 101. Born in Kouchibouquac, NB, Alice was the daughter of the late Peter and Caroline (Daigle) Perry. Alice was a homemaker a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br# 10, Newcastle, St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, lifetime member of the CWL, member of the Newcastle Senior Citizen Friendship Group and she loved bowling, knitting, playing cards and dancing. Alice is survived by five daughters, Rita Babineau, Rena Kenny, Adele Jagoe (George), Teresa Fallon, and Patsy Bryenton all of Miramichi, NB; daughter-in-law, Caroline Fournier of Miramichi, NB; three sons, Joe (Mae) and Ernie (Margaret) all of Miramichi, NB and Eric (Carolyn) of Sunny Corner, NB; one brother, Frank (May) of Saint John, NB; 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son, Wilfred Jr; three infant sons; two sisters, Millie Fox and Rita Rolph; and three brothers, Edmund, Alfie and Henry. Visitation will be held at Bell's Funeral Home, on Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated from St Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 2 PM with Father Tom Fowler officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring. In Alice's memory a donation may be made to the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home.
