John Bannister OSHAWA, ON - John Bannister, 64, of Ontario, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa. He was the son of the late Ethel (Hicks) Bannister and the late Harold Bannister. He was retired from General Motors after 38 years. Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Billie (Mackey); daughters, Carolyn Jensen (Brent), Jane Brewer; siblings, Joseph (Judy), Clarence (Sheila), Bernice, Eldon, Arthur (Marjorie), George (Betty); grandchildren, Alexander, Rebecca, Olivia; many in-laws; extended family and friends. He was predeceased by siblings, James, Rachel. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, where visiting hours will be held Thursday from 9:30am until time of service. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 10:30am, Pastor J. Holt officiating. Burial will be held at Maplewood Cemetery. www.armstrongsfh.com
