Roy Warren Mollins Q.C. 1925-2007 SHEDIAC, NB - Roy Mollins of Shediac passed away at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Saturday, July 7th, 2007 following a lengthy illness. Born in Shediac Cape on September 23, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank and Elsie (Taylor) Mollins. A graduate of Shediac High School, Roy attended Acadia University, and The University of Edinburgh, where he graduated with a degree in Law. Roy attended UNB law school in Saint John, and was admitted to the NB Bar in 1953. Roy joined the Law firm of Murphy & Murphy, later becoming a partner of Murphy Murphy & Mollins. Appointed as Queens Council, granted membership for life in the Law Society of NB, having practiced Law for 50 years. He was a member of the Shediac Baptist Church, avid fisherman, and a member of the Jubilee Fishing and Hunting Club. He is survived by his sister, Betty Adan (Tom) of Chilliwack, BC; brothers, Harry (Betty) Dartmouth, Robert (Helen) Woodstock, NB, Frederick (Edith) Dartmouth, Lewis of Shediac, James (Sylvia) of Shediac Cape, Donald (Leslie) of Shediac and Leigh (Erminie) of Shediac Cape; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Wednesday July 11th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 12th in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, pastor Brock Symonds presiding. A reception will follow the service in the Garden View Reception Room. Memorial donations may be made to the Shediac Baptist Church Building Fund. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
