Eva Bourque 1910-2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Bourque, 98, wife of the late Lionel Bourque formerly of Scoudouc, on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born June 26, 1910 in Sackville, N.B. she was the daughter of the late Thaddée and Élizabeth (Léger) Richard. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Creaghan's and Paturel's and was a member of Les Dames de Ste-Anne, and the Club d'âge d'or in Scoudouc. Eva has deeply touched the lives of many, with her gift of insight leaving this world a better place. An extraordinary woman who will be missed by all who loved her. She took great pleasure in sewing, knitting and especially cooking. She is survived by her two children, Léonard (Alma) of Scoudouc; Murielle Bourque (Normand Dionne) of Moncton; two sisters, Évangeline Ison (late Ernie) of Belleville, ON; and Éliza LeBlanc (Edmond) of Sackville, N.B; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Lionel (1977), she is also predeceased by an infant daughter, Doris (1930), two sisters, Laura Napper, Anna Burke; two brothers, André and Robert; and by a great granddaughter, Suzanne (1991). Visitation at La Maison funéraire Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 10 a.m. until time of departure at 10:50 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2008 at St. Joseph Romanc Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in St-Jacques-le-Majeur R.C. Cemetery, Scoudouc. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of N.
