LEBLANC, ROBERT - Robert, 64, of Montréal and formerly of Moncton, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, August 26th, 2009 at l'Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal. Born May 22nd, 1945 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Patrice and Yvonne (Gaudet) LeBlanc. Robert enjoyed ten years as a professor of mathematics at the Université de Moncton up to 1980 before moving to the private sector at CN (Montreal) until his retirement in 2006, finishing his career as the Director of Costing. He is survived by his wife, Murielle (Cormier) LeBlanc, of Montréal; two sons, Daniel and Serge (Andrée Dubiel); eight sisters, Jeanne Gaudet (Albénie) and Yvonne Robichaud (Alonzo), of Dieppe, Thérèse Bourgault (late Mike) of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., Marie-Anne Allain (Laurie) of Ormond Beach, Fl., Patricia Losier (Alfred) and Lorraine LeBlanc of Moncton, Stella Lipton (Cy) and Louise Chabassol (Harold), of Riverview; five brothers, Yvon (Françoise) of Québec, Qué., Normand (Yvette) of Saint John, Léonard (Simone) of Dieppe, Emérie (late Marilyn) of Moncton and Wilfred (Gloria) of Riverview; mother-in-law, Delphine Cormier (late Ovila); and two sisters-in-law, Diane Bourgeois (Frank), Jeannette Cormier. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and devoted friends. Lovingly remembered and deeply missed, his spirit and heartfelt memories will lie deep within our hearts forever. The family will receive condolences at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday, August 31st from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Tuesday, September 1st from 10 am until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, Moncton, NB, on Tuesday, September 1st at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
