RODNEY FREDERICK PROSSER

PROSSER, RODNEY FREDERICK - 1957-2009 - Rodney Frederick Prosser, 52, of Riverside-Albert passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital with his loving family by his side. Rod was born in Moncton on March 3, 1957 the son of the late Bernard and Hazel (O'Blenis) Prosser. He worked as a driller for many different companies but last worked with MRM Construction - Directional Drilling. Rod was a great guy who loved to be with his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and four-wheeling. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour, he loved to tease and torment. He enjoyed hanging out with his many friends and was always acting a fool. Rod, we love you. You will live in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed by his devoted and loving wife, Sue Prosser; his children, Angela Demont (John) of Riverview, Rodney Prosser (Stephanie), Jason Prosser of Hillsborough, Derek Carruthers (Christa) of Riverview and Luke Knox (Amanda) of Riverview; his eleven grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Hopper (Lewis) of Brandon, Manitoba and Gloria Tillapaugh (Dave) of Chilliwack, BC; brothers, Tom Prosser (Anne) of Salem and Brad (Sharon) of Shenstone. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews, his best friend Shawn Newsome (Stephanie) and his many good buddies of the Baccus MC. He was predeceased by his parents and by a brother, Fred Prosser "Freddy Sweetan" He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday evening, December 30th from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, December 31st, 2009 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment will be in the Shenstone Cemetery, Shenstone. In lieu of flowers donations to the Extra Mural, Palliative Care Unit of the Moncton Hospital, Canadian Cancer Research or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to say a sincere thank you tot he Extra Mural Nurses and Staff especially Mary West, to the Nurses and doctors of the Palliative Care Unit and to the Staff of the Albert County Wellness Center, all your kindness and care will never be forgotten.
