Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon, on Sunday, March 7, 2010, of Mr. James Everett MacMillan of Eldon.
Beloved husband of Verna (nee Martell) and dear father of Darlene, Kenneth, Marie, Eileen and Colleen. He is also survived by his sister, Eileen Monaghan, and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Austin and Annie (Lynes) MacMillan; his brother, Wilfred; and sister, Rita.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Michael’s Church, Iona, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge or the P.E.I. Heart and Stroke Foundation.
