Peacefully with her family at her side, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, March 7, 2010, of Isabelle E. (Oakes) Folland of Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, and formerly of Grahams Road, aged 84 years. Born in North Granville on Feb. 25, 1926, daughter of the late Whitfield and Maisie (Folland) Oakes. Wife of the late G. Nelson Folland. Mother of George (Rhea), Crapaud; William (Eirlys), Glenwood; Arthur (Mary Louise), Trenton, Ont.; Arnold (Elaine), Oshawa, Ont.; Marlene (Charles) Caseley, Norboro; Mary (Scott) Stewart, Stratford; Gordon (Barb), Long River and Evan Folland, Grahams Road. Loving grammie to 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of Irene MacPherson, Montreal; Esta MacLean, North River and Betty Jeffery, Kingston, Ont. Sister-in-law of Irma Oakes, North Whiltshire. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her stepfather, Edward Burgoyne, daughter Joan, son James, son-in-law, Ervin Johnson, great granddaughter, MacKenzie Leigh Gallant, one sister and four brothers. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Wednesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Springfield.
