Edwin “Blair” Halliday, 55, Foxbrook Road, Westville passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at his home. Born in New Glasgow, Blair was a life long resident of Westville, a son of Jean (Rundle) Halliday, Westville and the late Luther Halliday.
Blair was a welder and plate roller by trade having worked at Trenton Works for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Heather (Cyr); a daughter Michelle (Mike), Westville; sons, Stephen (Kerri), Westville; Chris, Fort MacMurray, Alta; grandchildren, Emma, Jeremy and Sydney; brothers, Harold (Jennie), Westville and Russell (Alaine), Churchville and several nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday from Eagles Funeral; Chapel, Westville with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Donations in Blair’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
