(April 22, 1927 - March 5, 2010) The passing of Emma Kathleen Holmes of Edmonton, AB and formerly of Four Falls, NB occurred on March 5, 2010 at the University of Albert Hospital, Edmonton, AB at the age of 82. Born in Four Falls, NB she was the daughter of Earl and Olive Murchison. Emma is survived by her children William (Alice) Holmes of Edmonton, Percy (Diane) Holmes of Brampton, ON, Erma Holmes (Sterling Kennard) of Edmonton, Sherwood (Pam) Holmes of ON, Dale Holmes of Edmonton, Francis (Dorothy) Holmes of Kelowna, BC; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; sisters Leitha (Joe) Holmes and Lillian (Ron) Michaud; brothers Preston (Marie) Murchison and Earlen (Shirley) Murchison; sister-in-law Hilda Holmes (George), brother-in-laws Jasper Holmes (Gina) and Ralph Holmes. Predeceased by her parents, husband Roy Holmes, sisters Edith and Etta (Honey), brothers Adrian, Beacher, Merrold, Sheldon and Delbert.
Resting at White\'s Funeral Home, 20 Industrial Park St. Perth-Andover with visiting hours on Thursday March 11th from 7-9 pm and Friday March 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 13th at 2 pm from Trinity Anglican Church, Perth-Andover with Rev. Bonnie LeBlanc officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Erma Holmes and William Holmes. Pallbearers will be Sherwood Holmes, Dale Holmes, Francis Holmes, Percy Holmes, Paul Holmes and Ron Michaud with interment in the Four Falls Anglican Cemetery.
