STEARNE – John Allan
John Allan Stearne “Jack”, age 77, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2010 in Prince Albert. Jack was born on September 12, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley Jack in 1978 and Sylvia Muriel in 1979 and his daughter Donna Lee on April 26, 1973. Jack is survived by his wife, May; his son John Richard of St. Catherine, ON; his daughters Alanna Joy Jenssen of Toronto, ON, Janine Stearne of Kitchener, ON and Monica Leigh Kalinowski of Prince Albert, SK; his brother Ronald (Liz) Stearne of Owen Sound, ON; his sisters Shirley (Ron) Stephens of Owen Sound, ON and Virginia (Les) Byers of Mt. Forest, ON; his grandchildren Alex of Toronto, ON, Kelly of Kitchener, ON and Shaunee and Kendahl of Prince Albert, SK and also many nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Nora Vedress officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Officers and Members of the Royal Canadian Legion will confer Veterans Honours. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
