Annie Allen, 89 of South Bar, passed away peacefully on Friday April 2, 2010 at the Cove Guest Home.
Born in Sydney she was the daughter of the late John David and Ethel (Simmons) Fraser.
Annie was the operator of a Bed and Breakfast for over 20 years but was better known for having operated Allen`s Dairy in South Bar for many years.
Annie was a member of Trinity United Church in Whitney Pier.
Annie is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Cuff, Sydney and Anita Webb, South Bar; son, Aubrey, Fort McMurray; sisters, Blanche Maxner, Ruth Dingwall, and Marjorie Grabher; her extended Fraser and Allen families; her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Art; sons, Fraser and Arnold (Arnie); brothers, Eddie, Henry, Melvin, Albert and Lloyd; son-in-law Charles Cuff and granddaughter Arlene (Cuff) Marshall.
A service celebrating Annie's life will be held Saturday April 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church, Whitney Pier with Reverend Maggie Coleman officiating.
