It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, Connor Allan Timmons, 20, on Saturday, May 9, 2009, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Connor is also survived by his beloved sisters, Stephanie and Hannah, at home; and loving grandparents, Gloria Timmons (and the late Adrian Timmons) of New Waterford, N.S., and Allan and Elaine Horne of Drayton Valley, Alta. He leaves to mourn many aunts and uncles including, Art (Claire) Timmons, Sherry (Tom Sullivan), Cathy Timmons, all of New Waterford, Michael (Kelly) Timmons, Lower Sackville, Terry (Tina) Horne, Calgary, Cathy (Marvin) Dusterhoft, High Prairie, Alta., Howard Vickers, Sherwood Park, Alta., Christine Horne, Robert (Angela) Horne, and Brad Horne, all of Drayton Valley, Alta.
He was predeceased by uncles Adrian and Bobby Timmons of New Waterford and Aunt Barbara (Horne) Vickers of Alberta.
Connor also has many special cousins in Alberta and in Nova Scotia.
Connor will always be remembered as a loving son and grandson, and a kind and supportive big brother. He will be missed as a wonderful cousin and nephew. He was a true friend with a heart of gold, an easy smile, and a deep faith. He was a leader who showed by example. He was peaceful, a bringer-of-joy, and a friend to all. His presence in our midst was a great gift to each of us, and we will spend our days thanking God for the treasure of Connor, until we are all re-united in the joy of heaven, where every tear will be wiped away. Connor liked to say that he was “too blessed to be stressedâ€. We were indeed blessed to have known him for these short years, and our hearts are forever grateful.
Connor had many great friends. He very much enjoyed sports, especially soccer, hockey and golf. He was actively involved in the Challenge Movement. Connor graduated from Sydney Academy and attended CBU for two years. He had just completed one year in the human kinetics program at St. FX University. His friends meant the world to him, and his family was always number one.
We are pleased that Connor had signed his organ donor card, and will, through that, continue to have a positive impact in the lives of others.
