Allen Edward Lee, Charlottetown, age 50 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Friday, May 8, 2009, after a 6 1⁄2 year brave and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Wendy (nee MacCallum). Dear father of Erin Blanchard (Rodney), Lauren and Adam. Loving Grampie of Kiersten. Son of Harold and Susan (Bell) Lee. Brother of Harold Jr., Billy (Linda), Danny (Becky), John, Clifford (Anne Marie), Ronnie (Cindy), Kevin (Sheila), Susan Clory (Alan), Paul (Kimmy), Cathy McIntyre (Robert) and Debbie (Paul). Brother-in-law of Lois Jewell (Hollis), Beryl Holden (Peter) and Sharon Docherty (Vernon). Predeceased by his parents-in-law, Norena and John MacCallum, and by his sister-in-law, Heather Livingston. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday at St. Dunstan’s Basilica at 2 p.m., leaving the funeral home at 1:40 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
