YVETTE COROY

Yvette passed away peacefully April 23, 2010 at the Victoria Hospital. Prayer service was held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Sister Renée Buliard officiated. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 27 from Sacred Heart Cathedral - 1401 - 4th Avenue West by Father Maurice Fiolleau. Yvette will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was well known for her kind and generous nature and her willingness to always lend a helping hand. She enjoyed sports and was an avid bridge player. Her favorite role was grandmother and she loved to dote on her grandchildren. Yvette was born in Marcelin, SK to Wilfred and Laura Colleaux (Renaud) but spent but spent most of her adult life in Prince Albert. She spent over 30 years employed with the Federal Government in different venues. Her last job was with the Health and Welfare Canada where she retired in 1995. Yvette was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Laura Colleaux. Her first husband Lloyd Coroy, her son Douglas and brother Marcel (Jackie) Colleaux and sister Lillian (Al) Koberinski. She is survived by her husband Isidore Gareau, her daughter Janice (Garry) Hill and her sons Richard and Ken Coroy, her sister Yvonne Colleaux and her grandchildren Stephanie, Douglas and Emily.
