Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 76th year. Left behind are her beloved children; Lana (Todd) of Georges Lake, Paula (Mike) of Toronto, Lori (Lorne) of Corner Brook, son Paul (Brenda) of Barrie ON, her beloved grandsons; Gavin and Cody, sisters; Doris of New Jersey, Joan (Roy) of Oromocto, NB, Pauline (Wayne) of Corner Brook, sister Bon of Corner Brook, Captain Linda (Max of Ontario, brothers; Ted (Leone) of Corner Brook, Monty (Josephine) of Corner Brook, Jerry (Sylvia) of Corner Brook and Wayne (Marie) of PEI. She is predeceased by her husband Edward (Blackie), sister; Elinore, brother; Bruce, mother; Annie and father; Alfred. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Monday, May 31, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday June 1, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Major Calvin Fudge and Major Linda Barrett officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Temple Church Fund.
