Arthur Charles William Redshaw passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 28, 2010. Art was born on December 22, 1921 on the family farm in the Mortlach district. He resided on the family homestead, farming with his brother Ralph. Art met Patricia (Pat), a school teacher in the Eastleigh district, and they were married in 1959. Art, Pat, and their family of four daughters made their home on the farm. In 1987, Art and Pat moved to Moose Jaw, continuing to farm for a few years more until fully retiring from farming. Pat passed away in 1994 and Art continued to live in his own home until his passing. Art's family was the love of his life and he enjoyed spending time with them. Predeceased by his parents Florence and Charles, wife Patricia, brother Ralph and brothers-in-law Bob Panser and Eric Hall. Art is survived by his sisters Doris Hall and Anne Panser (Dale Perry); daughters Ellen Redshaw, Jean (Alan) Kossick, Lois (Kelly) Fryklund and Diane (Gerald) Hauta; grandchildren Josh (Brandi), Julie, Natasha, Marcus, Brendan, Connor, Brittany, Byron, Stephanie and Kylie; great-grandchildren Alissa, Kolby, Bradly and Jana; one great-great-grandchild Evan; and nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Denise Doerksen will officiate. Interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St.W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2, would be appreciated. In living memory of Art, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
