Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Souris Hospital on Wednesday, June 17, 2010, of Helena (Helen) MacAulay, (nee MacDonald), aged 85, devoted wife of the late Joseph B. Wonderful mother to Joan (Leo) Campbell, Mermaid; Bev (Ray) MacDonald, Bedford, N.S.; Kenny (Verna) Souris; Wade (Karen), Enfield, N.S.; Mary Alice (Brian) Cameron, Mississauga, Ont.; David (Allana), Prince George, B.C.; Marjorie (Marvyn) Robertson, Munn's Road; Arlene (Boyd) Rose, Lakeville; Mitchell (Cynthia), Charlottetown, Bruce (Tracey), Charlottetown, and Glenn (Denise), Cornwall. Much loved mother-in-law to MaryEllen Kilgour, Chilliwack, B.C. Also remembered by special sister-in-law "Lovey" (Camilla) MacPhee. Forever loved by thirty-three grandchildren: Jeff (Colleen), Darcy (Melanie), Maria Campbell, Lori (Ank), Erin (Cameron), Mireille (Eric) Jonathan (Zinta), Andrew MacDonald, Jamie MacAulay, Tammi (Chad) Larsen, Tony (Sara) MacAulay, Melissa (Spencer) Martin, Craig (Marci), Tracie, Alyssa MacAulay, Garet (Danielle), Devin, Michael, Kristin, Jessalyn Cameron, Chad (Jennifer), Deanna, Bradley Robertson, Ellen (Chris) Lukeman, Keisha, Jorie Rose, Sarah, Grant, Daniel MacAulay, Sophia MacAulay, Kelsey, Morgan Creamer and Lauren MacAulay. Also six great-grandchildren: Samuel, Venel Campbell, Andrew, Olivia Larsen, Lawson and Breelyn MacAulay. Also remembered by sisters Alice MacDonald, Mildred Campbell and brother Joey Syl (Tillie) MacDonald, brother-in-law Jimmy (Rosina) MacAulay, Mass., US and sister in law Estelle MacAulay, Mass., US. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and especially remembered by dedicated visitor Roma Deagle. Predeceased by sons Gary and Gerard, parents Syl and Belle MacDonald, sister Marguerite and brother Elmer MacDonald. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Monday, June 21, 2010, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, June 22, 2010, 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral to be held on Tuesday afternoon to St. Mary's Roman Catholic church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
