1929 - 2010
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our father. He leaves to mourn his children Alvena (Lorne) Cooper, Elroy (Myrna) Enns, Raymond (Kathleen) Enns, Eleanor (Stew) Shepherdson, Karen (Phil) Fullerton, Connie (Dan) Boehr, Gerald (Linda) Enns, Lenita (Ron) Gutiw, and Rhonda Enns, twenty-eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister Mary Andres, brothers Henry (Luella), Peter (Paz), and numerous close relatives. John was predeceased by his wife Erika, son Kenneth, his parents, and siblings Jim and Helen. John was born at the family homestead in Tugaske. He farmed and trucked there until they retired to Moose Jaw in 1996. He later moved to Bethany Manor in Saskatoon, where he enjoyed his Mennonite heritage until his passing. Funeral Service will be held at the Alliance Church, (corner of Thatcher Drive and 9th Ave. NW), Moose Jaw, on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at the Eyebrow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Sask. Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.
