After a short illness, at the Scarborough Centenary Hospital, with his family at his side, on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, Harold Alvin Henderson, formerly of Duke Street, Summerside, aged 83, beloved husband of Isabell (Williams) Henderson. Born in Freeland, son of the late Edgar and Hazel (Hardy) Henderson. Dear father of Alan (Jerri-Lyn) Henderson, Oshawa, Ont., Ferne (David) Taylor, Lindsay, Ont., Hazen (Theresa) Henderson, Pickering, Ont., and Randal (Lesagh) Henderson, Pickering, Ont. Loving Grandfather of Alan (Leanne) Henderson, Brie and Quinn Taylor, Zachariah, Haley, Julie and Teghan Henderson. Survived by brothers, Dr Erland (Gloria) Henderson of New Glasgow, N.S., and Honourable George (Brenda) Henderson of Freeland. Survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law, Roger and Ada Williams of Springhill, Adrian and Joanne (Williams) Gallant of Summerside, Allison and Pat Williams of Springhill, Alvin and Charlotte Williams of Wellington, and Donna Williams of Ellerslie. Predeceased by his parents, father- and mother-in-law, Keith and Loretta (Cotton) Williams, brothers-in-law, Floyd, Russell and Harold Williams, sister-in-law, Ernestine (Williams) Rayner. A celebration of Harold's life took place at the McEachnie Funeral Home, in Ajax, Ont., on Saturday June 26, 2010. Interment in the Pine Ridge Cemetery, in Ajax, Ont.
