PICHE - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nathan Piché on May 24, 2009, at the age of 20. Nathan was the son of Marcel Piché and Michelle Legault and brother of Shannon Piché. Nathan's time with us was cherished as he brought love and happiness to all of the lives that he touched. Nathan was more than a gifted hockey player, a great golfer or a patient fisherman; he was a beloved son, a kind brother, a favorite grandson, a fun-loving cousin, an affectionate nephew, an incredible friend and our angel. So much about Nate Dogg reminds us to live better. His beautiful smile, "Hakuna-Matata" attitude and great sense of humor reminds us to enjoy each moment and live in the present. His fearlessness, be it on the dance floor or the ski hill, inspires us to be brave and shake it up every now and then. His constant reminder of 'I love you' at every goodbye encourages us to appreciate those in our life that we love and express our love openly. Nathan lived a quality of life that most people strive for and few achieve. He will be missed dearly by the many friends and family members who loved him. Nathan, you were a gift to us all and we will forever hold you in our memories and in our hearts.
