We, the family of Connor Timmons, would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude to every person who has helped us through these past weeks, since Connor was killed in a car accident on May 9, 2009. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support shown in so many different ways – through prayers, visits, meals, baking, flowers, memorials, masses, gifts, cards, monetary donations, and tributes. Thank you for all of these. We would also like to thank the following people: those who provided printed material, or made DVDs, or organized Facebook tributes, or found another way to honour Connor’s memory …the list goes on and on. All who assisted in any way at the funeral and at the reception. Our pastors, Fr. Paul MacNeil and Fr. Doug MacDonald, and our priest friends who concelebrated, and all those people who provided beautiful music. CBU for their assistance, and St. Agnes CWL, and so many friends who pitched in to help. The emergency personnel and the staff at the CB Regional Hospital. The staff at
V. J. McGillivray Funeral Home, who treated us as family. The Trestle Friends (that tribute meant SO MUCH to us!), and all those parents who opened their homes for Connor’s friends to gather and support one another. All who traveled to be with us, and all who offered cars, even houses, for our out-of-town guests. All who visited us, or phoned, or emailed. Every story, every memory that you share helps us to smile. Thank you to so many friends who assisted us in countless ways, and who enveloped us in compassion and prayer. Your love and concern has certainly helped us in this time of great sorrow. We had no idea how many lives Connor touched. God bless each one of you. Our hearts are forever grateful. May you be “too blessed to be stressedâ€!
Sincerely, Ness, Jari-Ann, Stephanie, Hannah and Gloria Timmons
