The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at his late residence on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 of Ernest Joseph Claude Clow of Slemon Park and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I.. Ernie was born in Summerside to his late parents, Leonard & Margaret (nee Gallant) Clow. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Power) Clow and loving father of Darren (Krista Blakeney) of Slemon Park and Kelly Clow (David Prest) of Hazelbrook. Also lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren, Emma and Ethan Pierce and several nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Emily (Bill) Cahill of Summerside, Milford (Una) of Summerside, Bennett (Marie) of Winnipeg, Man., Raymond of ON., Elaine Heckbert of ON., Alma Drouin of Edmonton, AB., and Kay (Joe) Szydlik of AB. Besides his parents, Ernie was predeceased by his sisters Cecila Drapeau, Helen Walsh & Irene MacDonald and his brother Junior Clow. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, Oct. 2, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Friday evening only, 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Ernie's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
