David N. Chase, 67, of Moncton, with his family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, October 25, 2010, following a sudden illness. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Nelson and Leone (Garrison) Chase. David was a retired City of Moncton electrician and a member of the Hillsborough Model Airplane Association. He enjoyed camping, was an avid NASCAR fan (Dale Earnhardt Jr.), enjoyed doing puzzles and needlepoint, socializing with friends at Tim Horton's, St. George Blvd. "solving the world's problems" and spending time with his family. David will be sadly missed by his wife, Frances (Gracie) Chase; children, Todd Chase (Tracy), Trudi Smallwood (Quinn), both of Pine Glen; stepsons, Shawn Duquette (Amanda), North Bay, ON, Christian Duquette (Krystal), Halifax, NS; grandchildren, Stephen, Colt, Morgan, Kyle, Trevor, Bailey, Mackenzie, Julia, Hunter; sister, Carol Anningson (Rev. Howard), Saint John; several nieces and nephews.
