The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Dec. 18, 2010, of Shannon Dee Muir of Miminegash aged 34 years. Beloved wife of Johnathon Muir of Miminegash. Born in Summerside on Feb. 20, 1976, the daughter of Pauline Todd and Gary Gaudet of Miminegash and is also survived by her father Albert (Verna) Gaudet of Ontario. Dear sister of Stephanie (Michael) Gavin, Tignish; Jesse Todd, Charlottetown and stepsisters Jenny and Haley Gaudet of Ontario. She is also survived by her grandmother Annie Gaudet, Miminegash, nephews Seth Gaudet and Daniel Gavin, Tignish, special friend Tracy Gallant, St. Louis, in-laws Kevin (Clare) Muir, Montrose, Janice McKendrick companion Richard Kurial, Charlottetown, and brothers and sisters-in-law Marion Muir, Mark Muir, Jessica Foster, Kathleen McInnis, Ashley Hicks and Emma Hicks. She was predeceased by grandparents George and Rita Gallant and Isadore Gaudet. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, with funeral mass at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
