Ruby May Peltier passed away peacefully on December 31, 2010 at the age of 89. Ruby Seale was born at Swift Current, Saskatchewan on July 20, 1921 and was the eldest of 5 girls. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Lucien, and one sister, Ida. Ruby is survived by her children John (Denise), Grant (Patty), and Gayle, sisters Ethel, Myrtle and Dorothy, grandchildren Eric, Jackie, Iain, Renee, Tara, Greg, Kim, Michael, Giselle, Julie and 13 great-grandchildren, and special family friend Gilles Landry. Ruby is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ruby was a teacher for many years. She taught at schools in Courval and Coderre, and also at Lindale and Vanier Collegiate in Moose Jaw. She was a long time member of Minto United Church, The Moose Jaw Pottery Club and a much respected member of The Moose Jaw Art Guild. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Minto United Church. Reverend John Carley will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Festival of Words, 217 Main Street North, Moose Jaw, SK S6H OW1, would be appreciated. In living memory of Ruby, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
