WADDINGTON - Marie Odilia Jean Waddington, age 67 of Beverly, Sk. passed away December 29, 2010 at her home with her animals. The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2011 from the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home with John Duncan officiating. A Life Tribute was presented by Darlene Perrin. Pallbearers were Brandon Waddington, Shayne Waddington, Cody Waddington, Jordon Street, Dale Perrin and Lance Krause. The interment service took place at Notre d' Auvergne Parish Cemetery, Ponteix, Sk. Marie is survived by her husband Fred Waddington of Simmie, Sk; children; Bernie (Tracey) Waddington of Sparwood, B.C.; Gina Waddington (Lloyd Street) of Medicine Hat, AB; Carla Waddington (Chris Douglas) of Kindersley, Sk; Cathy (Travis) Nerada of Swift Current; sister Irene (Jack) Gunter of Val Marie, Sk; brother Leo Garelle of North Battleford, Sk.; grandchildren Shayne Waddington, Brandon Waddington, Jordon Street, Shandi Street (Aaron Herbst), Cody Waddington Cooper Douglas, Dawson Nerada, Carson Nerada, Mitchell Nerada and MacKenna Nerada, great grandchildren Kinston Herbst and Myree Street; and a very special life long friend Brenda Getz. She was predeceased by her parents Annie and Bernard Garella; brother Albert Garella; sister Simone Shortt; little baby Amber Marie Getz. Marie was born on April 13, 1943 in Ponteix, Sk. She attended school in Stove Lake, Sask. Marie married Fred Waddington in Malta, Montana on August 7th, 1962. In her early years she had a boarding kennel and worked at the Swift Current Auction Barn. She then began running the Swift Current S.P.C.A. for many many years. Mom worked very hard her whole life, right until her passing. The biggest Love of Mom's were her little dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs and her donkeys. She had a love for animals that was never ending. She also loved garage sales, gardening, and stock car racing, and always planned her day around what the weather was doing. We have very fond memories of our Mom that will never leave our hearts. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the M.S.
