The death of Randy Thomas Hughes of Hampton NB occurred unexpectedly Sunday, January 9, 2011. Born in Brampton, Ontario, he was a carpenter with Coggan Homes. Randy loved the outdoors, playing softball, biking and playing with the kids. He coached rugby and football and enjoyed bringing smiles to everyone's faces. Randy is survived by his parents, Tom Hughes and Diane Wood, fiancé, Shaunna Tays, stepchildren, Haley and Ethan of Hampton, three brothers & one sister, Robert, Ryan, Candice & Lee, as well as his extended family and his lifelong brothers by choice, Paul Randan of Saint John, Nathan Monahan and Andrew Holmes both of Hampton NB and Trevor Lucas.
Resting at Bishop's Funeral home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. The funeral service will be held from the Sunset Church 429 Clements Drive Fredericton NB on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 3 PM with Rev. Joe Beesley Officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Paul Randan, Nathan Monahan, Tyler McCarthy, Davey Goucher, Andrew Holmes, and Trevor Lucas. Honorary pallbearer will be Steven Coggan.
