It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Dakota Leigh Brooks on January 10, 2011. Dakota was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on May 30, 1990. She was a graduate of Leo Hayes High School, a first year nursing student at UNB. She also enjoyed spending time with all her wonderful friends and her two brothers. Dakota will be truly missed by her parents Diane Paul and John Brooks of Fredericton, brothers Zachary and Dallas, her boyfriend Drew Maloney, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her grandparents John A. and Geraldine T. Paul, Walter J. and Helen G. Brooks and an uncle Dean J. Paul.
Resting at 290 Gabriel Drive beginning Wednesday at 7PM and all day Thursday. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 11 AM from St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Monte Peters officiating. Interment in the St. Anthony's Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers will be Catlin Paul, Brock Paul, Moose Brooks, Evan Sacobie, Storm Perley and Roland Paul.
