Landry, Jacqueline “Jackie” - 70 of Yarmouth, formerly of Pointe De Bute, NB and Oxford, died July 31, 2009 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Oxford, she was a birth daughter to late Douglas Hatt and Alma MacLeod, and was raised by late Pearl and Fern Thompson. Jackie worked for many years in the admitting department of the former Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst where she made and kept many acquaintances and good friends. She loved horses and enjoyed life to it’s fullness. Jackie is survived by children, Stephen (Gerldine) Gillingwater, Thorsby, AB; Robbie (Shelly) Gillingwater, Riverview, NB; Trevor (Anslie) Gillingwater, Montreal; Hallie (Darryl) Roche, Belfast, PE; and Chris (Dawn) Landry, Baie Verte, NB; brothers, Peter; Aubrey; Shawn; Starr; Robin; sisters, Mary; Lorna; Summer; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; former husband, Albert Landry, Pointe De Bute, NB. She was predeceased by brothers, Donald and D’ Wayne.Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009, all in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (447-2930).
