George William Blanchard of Beaver Falls, B.C. passed away on September 12, 2009 at Trail, B.C. George was born on November 1, 1938 in the Mayberry district, south of Moose Jaw. George spent 45 years in the refrigeration field and could fix anything. He enjoyed camping, golfing, ski-dooing, traveling, cards, board games and playing jokes on people. Life was an adventure and he was always fun to be around. Predeceased by his wife Florence (Nan) (2006); daughter Bonnie (2004); parents Arthur (1945) and Alice (1983); brothers Jim (1983), Franklin (2001) and Gerald (2002). He is survived by his son Fred (Rose) of Edmonton, daughter Lawana (Lawrence) of Fruitvale, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sweetheart Sharon, his sister Edna (Earl) Boan of Moose Jaw, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. George was a very caring person and was much loved. Funeral Services were held in Montrose, B.C. on September 18, 2009.
