It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Paddy, 63, on Sept. 20, 2009, at his home, after a brief illness.
Paddy was born in Sydney on April 1,1946, and was the son of the late Patricia (Hughes) and Wilfred Piercy.
He is survived by his wife, Vonnie (MacPhee); their children, Greg (Patty), Laura (Steve) Natress, Margarette (Bob), Dale (Miza), Joanne (Brian), Michael (Mandy); sister, Mary (Ed) Surette; brother, David (Bernadette); grandchildren, Gregory and Katelyn Piercy, Shayla and Neil Natress. He will be truly missed by all of us.
Predeceased by infant brother, Wilfred and son, Bruce.
Cremation has taken place. Service to be held at Branch 527 Legion, Sheppard Ave., Downsview, Ont., Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009. Burial in Sydney at a later date.
