It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father/grandfather, Lloyd on Sept. 24/09 at the Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche, NS. Born on Sept 22, 1916 he was the son of Harry & Cecelia (Macpherson) Hayman. Dad was a lifelong farmer and carpenter and despite many tribulations passed through this world with the most wonderful disposition imaginable. Over the years he served on many agricultural boards and committees. He was a member of St Andrews Presbyterian Church, The Falls. Until recently he resided with his daughter Glenda in Lr Sackville. He is survived by daughter Glenda( Terry Hagar), Lr Sackville: grandsons Terrill ,Toronto , Cody, Lr Sackville ; daughter-in-law Heather, Belmont; grandsons Stephen & David, Belmont; granddaughter Kim (Wesley) Logan, Brantford,Ont: sisters Elva Langille, Tatamagouche; Marjorie MacIntosh, Victoria, BC: brother Donald (Dianne) Hayman, Rothesay, NB; sister-in-law Thelma (Gordon) Hayman, Truro; sister-in-law Barb (George) Rockwell, Truro; brother-in-laws Clifford Cameron & Billie (Shirley) Cameron, Tatamagouche and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Wife Ethel (Cameron), sons Rollie (Heather), Ronnie & Dennis, granddaughter Keri Hagar; brothers Reg; Carl; sister Mildred (Dan) Bowen and companion Ella Crawford. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him because of his gentle spirit, especially his dog Kozmo. Rest in Peace, Dad. Special thanks to the staff of the Willow Lodge who treated him with such care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Any who wish to visit with family may do so Sunday Sept 27, 2-3 pm at Sedgewick Presbyterian Church, Tatamagouche. Memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at the Church with burial to follow at The Falls cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche; Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Family flowers only.
