JOHNSON, Richard H. (Dick), 1931 - 2008– Passed peacefully away at his home in Whitbourne on Sunday, December 14, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Hilda Johnson, brother Thomas and grandson Tyler Johnson. Left with fond and loving memories are his beloved wife Bertha and six children Richard (Cathy), Patty Russell (Lorne), Theresa Sloos (Jeff), Cathy Oke (John Prentice), Mary Cole (Brent); Tom (Lisa), and his precious 18 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and sister Mary Bossenmeyor (Bob) of Orange, California; as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Cabot Avenue, Whitbourne. Visitation Tuesday, December 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, December 17 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Whitbourne on Wednesday, December 17 at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Dick’s memory may be made to The Right To Life Association.
