Peacefully at his home in Donagh on November 9, 2009, of Norman Keoughan, age 84 years.
Beloved husband of Mary Keoughan (nee McLeod); and loving father of Maureen MacDonald, Vince (Wanda), Allan (Geraldine), John (Debbie), Joanie Morrison (Raymond), Sharon King (Keith - deceased) and Wayne.
Norman is also survived by his grandchildren, Jacinta, Justin, Alanna, Nathan, Alex, Stephanie, Jonathan, Katie, Hannah, Bethany, Kyle, Samantha and Kody Keoughan, Ryan and Ian MacDonald and Derrick, Rae Anne and Matthew Morrison; brothers, Bill Koughan (Bernie) and James Koughan (Eleanor); and sisters, Eileen Driscoll (Vernon - deceased), Lillian Koughan, Florence McNally (Leo - deceased), and Rita McGuirk (Ralph - deceased).
He was predeceased by his parents, Mathias and Catherine Koughan; and his brother, Victor Koughan.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, November 11, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 12, at St. Patrick's Church, Fort Augustus, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Patrick's Debt Reduction Fund would be appreciated.
