MR. LEO BARNETT of Moose Jaw passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Leo was born January 23, 1926 to Edward and Edith Barnett. He was raised in the Lillestrom district southwest of Moose Jaw. Leo was predeceased by his wife Jean Barnett -2004, great-grandson, Augustus James Bearden. He is survived by his five children: Larry (Dale) (Tarrel and Tarrie) – Abbottsford, B.C.; Barry (Marlene) – (Russell (Jennifer), Bobbi-Jo (James), Kelly-Rae (Taylor) – Moose Jaw; Blair (Sandi) (Teddi and Dustin) – Moose Jaw; Debra (Cam) Myers – (Jerri-Lynn (Sean), Melissa (Chris), Kyle and Brady) – Moose Jaw; Bonnie (Tim) Weinbender – (Ashlynn, Clark and Madison) – Morse; great-grandchildren: Kolbey, Bradley, Austin, Baillie, Spencer, Taylor, Justyn, Logan, Dylan, Emerson and Jackson. He is also survived by his brothers: Bill, John, Allen (Sherry) – Moose Jaw, Charlie (Peggy) – Shaunavon, and his sisters: Edie Keen, Phyllis Craig, Alice (Bruce) Brander – Moose Jaw, as well as numerous other family members and friends. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel. Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday evening, 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
