HILL, LAURIE On Friday, October 27, 2006, our dear wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister and friend passed away with her family at her side at the age of 60. Laurie was an extraordinary woman, completely devoted to her family and friends. She created a warm, wonderful, welcoming home. Laurie and Gerry shared their dreams together for 39 loving years. She will always be cherished by her husband, Gerry, her children, Carolyn (Brian) Manning, Craig (Juniper), and David (Hye-young). She is dearly loved by her three grandchildren, Ethan, Sophia, and Thomas Manning, her mother, Ruth Nickerson-Esson, her three sisters, Janice, Susan, Terri and their families, her step mother, Margaret Nickerson and loving extended family and many dear friends. Laurie is predeceased by her father Ralph Nickerson. We treasure the tender memories of a loving, generous and nurturing woman. Our family would like to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and caring nurses at the Cross Cancer Institute. Laurie's life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park. Cremation to follow.
