KENNETH PHILLIPS 1923-2007 It is with deep regret that we report the death of Ken Phillips our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was predeceased by his wife, Delphine, in 1995 and is survived by daughters Angela (Lorie) of Whiterock, Juliette (Joseph) of Kamloops and twin sons, Lawton (Anna) of Kamloops and Harvey of Surrey. He will be missed by his eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as relatives in Staffordshire and Cheshire, England, also in Penticton and Quesnel, BC. Ken served for four years in the Royal Signals during WWII before emigrating to Canada. He lived in Kamloops from 1969 where along with his wife "Del" he published 'Teletimes' magazine for eighteen years before retiring. He was accomplished artist, well respected by his colleagues within the arts community and by patrons who prized his work. Ken was a good natured sensitive person with a quick wit and ready smile. He will be greatly missed. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday April 27, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mary Widmer officiating.
