REDDICK, GERTRUDE URSULA It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Gertrude Ursula Reddick on June 5, 2007. Mom was born in Rossland, B.C. October 21st, 1920 to George and Elizabeth Mara and resided there until she moved to Vancouver as a young woman. During her stay in Vancouver she met and married the love of her life Bernard Reddick. They had 57 wonderful years together before his passing in 2003. Mom and Dad raised eight children in Vancouver before moving to Kamloops in 1974 with four of their children. After their retirement they returned to the coast to live in White Rock and Abbotsford before returning to Kamloops in 2001. Mom is survived by seven of her children, Tom (Colleen) Reddick, Toronto, On., Colleen (Gary) Bandura, Surrey, B.C., Bernie (Sharon) Reddick, Surrey, B.C., George Reddick, Kamloops, B.C., Cindy (Charlie) Davidson, Kamloops, B.C., Debbie (Stan) Bailly, Kamloops, B.C., and Sue (Keith) Boychuk, Kamloops, B.C. She is also survived by her two sisters Alouise Richardson and Anne (Dick) Calder, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard, daughter, Patricia Preece, three sisters, Anna Marie, Eileen, Margarite, Dorothy and infant brother Georgie. The family invites you to join them as they celebrate this wonderful ladies life at a service of remembrance on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Sagewood Community Centre at Sun Rivers, Kamloops, B.C. from 1 to 4 p.m. A special thank you to Dr. Mark Langford for the wonderful care he gave Mom and to the RCMP, Ambulance Attendants and Coroners office for their compassion during this difficult day.
