The death occurred at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 of Dorothy M. Profitt (nee Allen) of Charlottetown, age 89 years. Beloved wife of Wendell. Dearest mother of Judy (Ron Hughes) and Dr. Allen (Susan) Profitt. Cherished grandmother of Chelsea and Jordan. Loving sister of Dr. Lloyd (Virginia) Allen and Kathleen (James, predeceased) Oakley. Sister-in-law of Georgie (Walter) Simmons and Rowan (Muriel, predeceased) Profitt. Daughter of the late Dr. Harry and Kathleen Allen. Niece of the late Richard S. (Eleanor) Hinton. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday from Trinity United Church at 10 a.m. Interment in The Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
